Camshaft Position Sensor - Right-Hand Bank (Bank A) - an engine-management sensor that monitors camshaft angular position on the right-hand cylinder bank of the AJV8 V8 engine.

The engine control module uses its signal for cylinder identification and phasing, governing sequential fuel injection, ignition timing and variable camshaft timing. This unit serves the A (right-hand) bank; the opposite bank uses the corresponding left-hand sensor.
