Return, Refund & Warranty Policy
Thank you for shopping with Budget Parts B.V. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Below you’ll find all the details on returns, refunds, and product guarantees.
You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order as part of our goodwill policy.
We ask that items are returned in their original condition, preferably unused and in their original packaging to help us process your return efficiently.
Please note: Electrical components may be returned under the statutory right of withdrawal. However, if they have been opened, installed, or used, we may apply a deduction for any loss of value where permitted by law.
To qualify for a full refund under our voluntary return policy, electrical items must remain sealed and unused.
This goodwill policy is separate from your legal right of withdrawal under EU law (see below).
To start a return, email info@budget-parts.nl with your order number. We’ll send instructions on how to return the item.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item was damaged or incorrect upon arrival.
As a consumer within the EU, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, contact us by email within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order number.
You must return the goods within 14 days after informing us of your cancellation. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
We will refund all payments received (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
Your statutory rights regarding defective or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.
Note: on opened or used goods: The right of withdrawal also applies to opened, tested, or used items, unless one of the statutory exceptions applies (see above).
In the event of loss of value due to use, we reserve the right to demand compensation, where permitted by law.
Once we receive and inspect your return, or receive proof that the goods have been sent back, we will notify you about the approval status.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method. It may take a few business days for your bank or card provider to reflect the refund.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the consumer when the goods are physically received by:
If a delivery option involving a parcel shop, pickup point, or Access Point is selected at checkout, such location is considered a third party designated by the customer.
If delivery is redirected to a pickup location after an unsuccessful delivery attempt, the parcel shall be considered delivered once it is made available for collection at that designated pickup location.
If a parcel is made available for delivery or collection and is not collected within the carrier’s holding period, and is returned to us:
If the parcel is not returned to us and is confirmed by the carrier as delivered to the designated pickup location, our delivery obligation is considered fulfilled.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Delays caused by severe weather, customs clearance, strikes, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund of shipping costs.
We replace items only if they arrive defective or damaged.

All products are covered by the legal warranty (wettelijke garantie) as required under Dutch and EU consumer law. This means:
Your purchase must be of good quality, safe, and perform as expected under normal use.
If a product becomes defective within a reasonable period (typically 6–12 months), and the defect is not due to misuse or wear & tear, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you.
Some products may also include an additional manufacturer’s warranty. If applicable, details will be provided with the product.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@budget-parts.nl with your order number, product details, and description of the issue.
Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
We are not obliged and do not agree to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, unless required by law.
