Thank you for shopping with RoverParts, operated by Budget Parts B.V. This policy explains how returns, refunds, cancellations, delivery issues and warranty claims are handled.
You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order.
To qualify for a full refund, items should be returned unused, undamaged, complete and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging.
This 30-day return period is offered in line with our store return rules and is more generous than the minimum statutory EU withdrawal period. Your legal rights are not limited by this policy.
To start a return, log in to your account at account.budget-parts.nl, go to your orders, and select “Returns and cancellations”. Alternatively, contact us at info@budget-parts.nl with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to return the item or withdraw from the contract.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect or was otherwise supplied in error by us.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.
For goods, the withdrawal period starts on the day after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receive the goods. If your order is delivered in separate shipments, the withdrawal period starts on the day after you receive the last item, lot or piece.
Our store return rules allow a 30-day withdrawal and return window from delivery of the last item in the order.
If the final day of the withdrawal period falls on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, log in to your account at account.budget-parts.nl, go to your orders, and select “Returns and cancellations”. Alternatively, contact us at info@budget-parts.nl with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
Once you have notified us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period has expired.
Electrical components may be returned under your right of withdrawal, unless a legal exception applies.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if that diminished value results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
For electrical components, this includes installation, connection, use, damage or handling beyond normal inspection. In such cases, a deduction for loss of value may apply to your refund.

You may request cancellation of an order before it has been fulfilled or dispatched.

If the order has already been fulfilled, dispatched or handed to the carrier, the normal return and withdrawal process will apply.
The statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers only. A consumer is a natural person acting outside their trade, business or profession.
Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal. Returns for business orders are handled at our discretion.
Where we accept a business return, a 15% restocking fee applies, with a minimum fee of €25, unless otherwise agreed in writing or unless the item was damaged, defective, incorrect or supplied in error by us.
The right of withdrawal does not apply where a legal exception applies. This may include, for example:
Your statutory rights regarding defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.
Once we receive your return, or once you provide proof that the goods have been sent back, we will process your refund within 14 days, whichever is earlier.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
For valid consumer withdrawals, we will refund the product price and the standard delivery cost paid for the original order. If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.

We may deduct an amount from the refund if the goods have lost value due to handling beyond what was necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning.
It may take a few business days for your bank, card provider or payment provider to show the refund after it has been processed.

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, refund or another suitable remedy at no cost to you.
We replace items only if they arrive damaged, defective, incorrect or were otherwise supplied in error by us.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the consumer when the goods are physically received by the consumer, or by a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier.
If you choose delivery to a parcel shop, pickup point or Access Point at checkout, that location may be treated as a delivery location designated by you.
If a parcel is redirected to a pickup location by the carrier after an unsuccessful delivery attempt, the delivery status and any further steps will be assessed based on the carrier information and the circumstances of the delivery.
Please contact us promptly if there is a delivery problem, so we can help investigate the issue with the carrier.
If a parcel is made available for delivery or collection and is not collected within the carrier’s holding period, it may be returned to us.
If the parcel is returned to us, the order may be treated as a return. We may deduct reasonable return shipping costs, carrier charges, customs charges or other direct costs charged to us, where permitted by law.
If the parcel is not returned to us and the carrier confirms that it was delivered to a location selected or designated by you, our delivery obligation may be considered fulfilled, subject to applicable consumer law.
This section does not limit your statutory rights, including your right of withdrawal where applicable.
Delivery times shown on our website are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we have expressly agreed to a specific delivery deadline with you.
Delays caused by severe weather, customs clearance, strikes, carrier disruption, peak-season congestion or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.
If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us so we can investigate the shipment and advise on the available options.
All products are covered by the legal warranty under Dutch and EU consumer law.
This means that the product must be of satisfactory quality, safe, match the description, and perform as may reasonably be expected under normal use, taking into account the type of product, price, age, condition, installation and intended purpose.
If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate legal remedy.
The legal warranty does not cover defects caused by incorrect installation, misuse, improper handling, normal wear and tear, modification, accident damage, lack of maintenance or use outside the product’s intended purpose.
Some products may also include an additional manufacturer’s warranty. Any manufacturer’s warranty is separate from, and does not replace or limit, your statutory legal warranty rights.
