Centre Silencer Replacement Pipe for the exhaust system, fitted in place of the original centre silencer between the front and rear sections.

The straight-through pipe removes the restrictive and exposure-prone centre box, lowering back pressure through the system. It bolts directly to the original system and requires no modification. Suits Td5 and Puma (TDCi) diesel applications.

Manufactured from 1.5mm 409 grade ferritic stainless steel, the grade normally specified for automotive exhaust systems for its bendability, weldability and resistance to exhaust gas corrosion, and because it is not prone to cracking from vibration as other stainless grades can be. A light surface rust forms in most atmospheres, which retards further corrosion.

In use the engine gains low-end torque, picks up more freely and takes on a deeper exhaust note.
