The plate fits over the outer face of the rear door, protecting the surface from scuffs and stone chips while giving a chequer-plate trim finish. The cut-out is shaped for the late-type wiper spindle; the early-wiper equivalent is DA2069, and DA2067 covers doors with no rear wiper.
