PAS Pulley is the drive pulley for the power-assisted steering pump, part of the power steering pump drive on the V8 EFI petrol engine.

Mounted on the power steering pump input shaft, the pulley is turned by the engine's auxiliary drive belt and transmits that rotation to the pump, which generates the hydraulic pressure that feeds the steering circuit. A worn, cracked or seized pulley can cause belt slip, noise or loss of steering assistance.
