Air Locker - air-operated selectable locking differential for the Salisbury rear axle with 24-spline halfshafts.

Replaces the standard differential centre inside the axle casing. In its default state it behaves as a conventional open differential, allowing the wheels to turn at different speeds on the road. When engaged, compressed air locks the two side gears together so both halfshafts are driven at the same speed, delivering full drive to both wheels when traction is lost at one.

Operation requires a 12V air supply - an on-board compressor, air line and control switch.

Installation is a full differential rebuild: the crown wheel and pinion must be re-shimmed and backlash reset, and the axle casing drilled to route the air line to the differential.

Halfshaft spline count must be confirmed before ordering - this unit is for 24-spline axles only.
