The disc provides the friction surface of the rear braking assembly: it is mounted to the rear hub and is clamped by the caliper and pads under braking. Discs should be replaced in axle pairs so braking remains balanced from side to side, and new pads fitted at the same time so the friction material beds evenly against the fresh surface.

What is the GA4683 rear brake disc for?
The GA4683 disc mounts to the rear hub of the Range Rover Evoque and is clamped by the caliper and pads under braking. It's supplied as a matched pair so both sides of the rear axle can be renewed together, keeping braking balanced.
Does the GA4683 fit the newer Evoque L551?
The GA4683 is confirmed for the Evoque L538 (2012-2018) and corresponds to OE part LR027123. Fitment to the later Evoque L551 (2019 onwards) hasn't been confirmed, so check against your vehicle's existing disc if you have the newer model.
When do rear discs on the Evoque need replacing?
Rear discs are typically renewed once they show scoring, thinning below minimum thickness, or judder under braking. They're usually replaced in axle pairs together with new rear pads so the friction material beds in evenly on both sides.
