Rear Crossmember - Short Extensions - replacement rear chassis crossmember, supplied with short extensions, forming the rearmost structural section of the chassis frame.

The crossmember closes the rear ends of the chassis rails and provides the mounting for the rear bumper and towing equipment. The short-extension version is joined to the existing chassis rails once the corroded section has been cut back, retaining more of the original chassis than a full-length replacement.

Fitting requires cutting and welding and should be carried out by a competent workshop. The chassis rails must be sound where the extensions are joined; where corrosion runs further forward, a longer extension crossmember is required.
