Complete Cylinder Head for the 300 TDi 2.5L diesel engine, supplied fully assembled and ready to fit.

The head is delivered built up with the valves, valve springs, stem seals and valve guides already installed, so it bolts directly onto the block. It carries the valvetrain and forms the top of the combustion chambers, along with the coolant and oil galleries that feed the upper engine.

This head uses the later revised waterways for improved cooling and requires the three-hole multi-layer steel head gasket (companion part LVB500220); fit the matching three-hole gasket rather than an earlier single- or two-hole type.
