Timing Gear Bolt - retaining bolt used in the timing gear train of the 2.4L Duratorq TDCi (Puma) turbo diesel engine.

The bolt clamps a timing gear to its shaft, maintaining the fixed angular relationship between the crankshaft, camshaft and injection pump drive so that valve and injection timing remain correct. It is handled during timing case and timing gear work, and must be tightened to the specified torque on assembly.
