Camshaft Position Sensor for the Cologne 4.0L V6 EFI (SOHC) petrol engine.

The sensor reads the camshaft reluctor and reports camshaft position to the engine control module, which uses the signal for cylinder identification and for sequential fuel injection and ignition timing.

A failing sensor typically shows up as extended cranking, an erratic idle, or a stored camshaft position fault code.
