Steering tie rod repair kit - M20 thread, steering gear and track rod linkage.

The tie rod screws into the end of the steering rack and carries the outer track rod end, transferring rack movement to the steering knuckle. Renewing the rod, its ball joint and the gaiter removes play from the linkage and restores steering response; the gaiter keeps grease in and water and grit out of the rack end.

The kit contains the M20 tie rod, the M14 outer track rod end and the gaiter. Wheel alignment must be reset to specification after fitting.
