Genuine Part

Coolant Hose - Bleed is part of the engine cooling and coolant recovery circuit on the 5.0 litre V8 petrol (AJ133) engine.

The bleed hose carries air and displaced coolant from the high point of the cooling circuit back to the expansion tank, letting trapped air escape as the system is filled and as it warms through. A perished, split or hardened bleed hose stops the system venting correctly and can leave air locks in the circuit.
