Air Conditioning Compressor for the 2.7 V6 Td6 diesel engine - the driven component of the air conditioning refrigerant circuit.

Belt-driven from the engine accessory drive, the compressor draws low-pressure refrigerant vapour from the evaporator side and delivers it at high pressure to the condenser, which is what allows the system to reject heat and cool the cabin.

The refrigerant circuit must be evacuated and recharged when the compressor is replaced, and the system oil charge set to specification. This compressor is specific to the 2.7 V6 diesel and does not interchange with the 3.0 V6 unit.
