Clutch Slave Cylinder is the actuating cylinder of the clutch hydraulic release circuit, used with the 6-speed manual transmission.

It receives fluid pressure from the clutch master cylinder and converts it into linear movement at its piston, which operates the clutch release mechanism to disengage drive when the pedal is depressed. Fluid leakage or internal wear at the cylinder shows up as a soft or sinking clutch pedal and difficulty selecting gears.
