Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe carrying pressurised engine oil from the block feed point to the turbocharger bearing housing, forming part of the turbocharger lubrication circuit on the 2.7 V6 Td6 diesel engine.

The pipe supplies the journal and thrust bearings that carry the turbine and compressor shaft. Those bearings run at very high shaft speed and depend on an uninterrupted oil feed, so a restricted, corroded or leaking pipe starves the bearing housing and is a recognised cause of repeat turbocharger failure. For that reason the feed pipe is commonly renewed alongside the turbocharger itself.
