Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor for the front position of the exhaust after-treatment system on 4.4L V8 turbo diesel engines fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter.

Monitors exhaust gas temperature in the front pipe and catalyst area and reports it to the engine management system, which uses the reading to manage Diesel Particulate Filter regeneration and to protect the after-treatment components from overheating. Diesel applications only.
