Parking Sensor is a Park Distance Control (PDC) ultrasonic sensor mounted in the bumper, part of the parking aid system.

It emits and receives ultrasonic pulses to measure the distance to nearby obstacles, feeding the parking aid module which warns the driver as the vehicle approaches an object. The sensor is common to both left-hand and right-hand mounting positions.
