Ride Height Sensor for electronic air suspension.

Mounted between the body and a suspension arm, it measures the vertical position of the axle and feeds the ride-height signal to the air suspension ECU, which regulates air spring pressure to maintain the set ride height. This later (10MY) sensor supersedes the earlier type: its three-pin connector is compatible with the previous six-pin wiring, and it fits both the left- and right-hand sides.

Frequently asked questions

What does the LR032106 air suspension height sensor do?
The LR032106 ride height sensor measures the vertical position of the axle on the Range Rover L322 and feeds the ride-height signal to the air suspension ECU. The ECU uses it to regulate air spring pressure and hold the set ride height. It mounts between the body and a suspension arm.
Does this later sensor still fit the earlier six-pin wiring?
Yes. This is the later 10MY type sensor adapted to the earlier condition: its three-pin plug is compatible with the previous six-pin wiring on the Range Rover L322. It also fits both left- and right-hand sides, so one part covers either corner.
What are the signs the ride height sensor is failing?
A failing height sensor on the Range Rover L322 typically triggers suspension fault warnings, incorrect ride height or an uneven stance. Because the ECU relies on its signal to set air spring pressure, a faulty sensor can leave that corner sitting too low or too high.
