Fuel Tank Vent Hose in the fuel tank ventilation system. It connects to the fuel tank and carries fuel vapour and displaced air away from it, letting the tank breathe as the level changes during refuelling and normal fuel draw while routing vapour into the evaporative emissions circuit rather than venting it to atmosphere.

A perished, split or kinked hose can cause a fuel smell, slow filling or fuelling faults. Replaced to restore correct tank venting.
