Shock Absorber is the rear adaptive damper used within the electronically controlled air suspension system, mounting between the body and the rear suspension to control the movement of the suspension.

Working alongside the rear air spring, the damper resists and controls suspension motion over road inputs, helping to keep the wheel in contact with the road and to stabilise the body. On this application the damping rate is continuously variable and adjusted electronically by the suspension control system in response to road and driving conditions.
