Throttle Body and Motor for the 3.0L V6 diesel engine, mounted in the air intake tract with its electric actuator motor integrated.

In this diesel application the throttle body regulates intake airflow under engine-management control, governing EGR mixing and providing a controlled shut-off that damps run-on shudder when the engine is switched off. The integrated motor drives the throttle plate to the position commanded by the ECU, with built-in position feedback for closed-loop control.
