Gasket seals the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve joint on the left-hand side of the 3.0 V6 diesel (Gen2) engine.

It forms a gas-tight seal between the EGR valve and its mating face within the exhaust gas recirculation and front exhaust system, and is renewed whenever the EGR valve is removed.
