Tensioner Pulley for the auxiliary (accessory) belt drive on 2.0L AJ200 / AJ20 Ingenium petrol and diesel applications.

The spring-loaded tensioner bears against the auxiliary drive belt and maintains correct tension as the belt turns the engine accessories. It takes up slack caused by belt stretch and thermal expansion, preventing slip and keeping the belt tracking correctly on its pulleys. A worn tensioner or seized pulley bearing typically shows as belt noise or premature belt wear.
