Coolant Flow Control Valve in the engine cooling and climate control circuit, controlling the flow of heated coolant to the heater matrix and the transmission warming branch.

The valve is electrically actuated and plumbed into the heater water hoses between the engine coolant outlet and the heater feed. By regulating how much hot coolant is diverted out of the main engine circuit, it allows the engine management system to balance cabin heating demand against engine and transmission warm-up.

Fitted to 2.0L AJ20P4 petrol applications equipped with Active Transmission Warming. A valve that has failed or stuck typically shows as no cabin heat, heat that cannot be turned off, or slow warm-up.
