Rear Brake Disc for the rear axle braking assembly.

The disc mounts to the rear wheel hub and rotates with the road wheel, providing the friction surfaces that the rear caliper pads clamp under braking. Where an electric park brake is fitted, the same disc also carries the parking brake clamping load applied through the rear caliper.

Discs are replaced in axle pairs to keep braking balanced from side to side, and new pads should be fitted at the same time.
