Compressed Air Hose - charge air duct in the intercooler circuit of the 3.0L V6 Gen2 turbo diesel engine.

It carries cooled, pressurised charge air from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body, completing the run between the intercooler and the engine intake. The hose works under boost pressure and repeated heat cycling.

Splits, hardening at the cuff ends or a joint that no longer seals will produce a boost leak, showing as reduced power, a boost pressure fault or an audible hiss under load. Inspect the hose whenever the intercooler or intake ducting is disturbed.
