Front Upper Suspension Arm - Left Hand, Standard Length - upper control arm in the front double-wishbone suspension assembly, to the standard-length specification.

It locates the top of the front wheel knuckle relative to the body structure, setting the upper pivot of the suspension geometry and, together with the lower arms, controlling camber and caster change through wheel travel. The arm carries a ball joint at its outboard end and bushed pivots at its inboard mountings; the joint is not serviced separately, so the complete arm is replaced when play develops.

The standard-length arm and the earlier arm are not interchangeable, so confirm which specification the vehicle carries before ordering. Worn upper arm joints typically present as a knock from the front of the vehicle over uneven surfaces, and as a front wheel alignment that will not hold its setting.

A front wheel alignment check is required after fitting.
