Fuel Injector for the 3.0L AJ20D6 Ingenium six-cylinder diesel engine in high-output specification, part of the high-pressure common rail fuel injection system.

The injector is retained in the cylinder head with its nozzle in the combustion chamber and is supplied from the common rail by a high-pressure pipe. It meters and atomises fuel under ECU control over several injection events per combustion cycle, with surplus fuel returning through the leak-off circuit.

The sealing washer and high-pressure supply pipe are renewed whenever the injector is disturbed, and the injector's calibration code must be programmed into the engine ECU after fitting.
