Rear suspension toe link, left-hand side, from the multi-link rear suspension assembly.
The toe link runs transversely between the rear subframe and the wheel knuckle, setting and holding the rear wheel toe angle as the suspension moves through its travel. It works alongside the upper and lower control arms to locate the wheel under drive, braking and cornering loads. Its inboard bush is separately serviceable as LR12586871.
Wear in the link or its bushes shows up as unstable rear-end tracking, uneven inner-edge tyre wear and alignment settings that will not hold. A four-wheel alignment is required after fitting.
