The sensor sits in the exhaust downstream of that bank's catalyst and measures residual oxygen content, supplying the engine control module with the feedback it uses to monitor catalyst conversion efficiency and correct fuel trim on the bank. Fitted to the 3.0L DOHC GDI supercharged V6 petrol engine.

Oxygen sensors are bank- and position-specific: this is the left-hand rear unit and is not interchangeable with the front or right-hand bank sensors.
