Front Brake Disc, internally vented, providing the friction surface of the front brake assembly.

The disc mounts on the wheel hub flange and runs between the friction pads of the front caliper. Internal vanes between the two braking faces draw cooling air through the disc, carrying heat away under repeated or sustained braking and limiting pad fade and thermal distortion of the faces.

This is the larger of the two front disc sizes and is used with the 20-inch front disc and caliper package. Discs are renewed as an axle set together with the front brake pads; the front pad wear sensor (LR153546) is a single-use item and should be renewed at the same time.
