Rear Cylinder Block Plate - part of the cylinder block and plugs assembly on the 5.0L V8 Petrol engine (AJ133 DOHC).

The plate closes the machined rear face of the cylinder block behind the crankshaft flange and carries the rear crankshaft oil seal, sealing the crankcase where the crankshaft passes through to the flywheel and transmission bellhousing.
