Rear Brake Pad Kit - replacement friction linings for the rear disc brake assembly.

The pads sit in the caliper carrier either side of the brake disc; hydraulic pressure from the rear brake circuit drives the caliper piston, clamping the friction material against the disc faces to slow the wheel.

Pads are a wear item and are renewed as a set across the axle so that braking effort remains even side to side. Inspect the disc surfaces, caliper slide pins and dust seals whenever the pads are changed.
