Oil Filler Cap - screw-on cap that seals the engine oil filler neck in the camshaft cover.

It closes the filler aperture and seals the crankcase against the pressure fluctuations handled by the crankcase ventilation system. Once the cap seal has hardened, cracked or lost its grip, oil mist escapes past it and crankcase pressure is no longer properly contained - the point at which the cap is renewed.

For the 2.2L and 2.4L Puma diesel engine.
