Rear Brake Disc - 325 mm disc for the rear axle service brake assembly, supplied as an axle pair.

Each disc locates on the rear wheel hub flange and forms the friction surface clamped by the rear sliding caliper. Disc diameter is matched to the caliper fitted, so the diameter of the disc being replaced should be confirmed before ordering.

Supplied as a pair so the complete rear axle can be renewed in one operation. Fit new rear pads at the same time.

What is this rear brake disc set?

Are pads included, and what else is needed?
Pads are not included; this set is the two rear discs only. Fit a new set of rear pads at the same time so the fresh friction material beds evenly to the new discs. Since the pair covers both sides, the rear axle is renewed together in one operation.
Why replace the rear brake discs?
Rear brake discs are replaced once worn below minimum thickness, scored, or distorted by heat. On the Velar the rear caliper also provides the electric park brake clamp, so heavily corroded rear discs can reduce parking-brake hold as well as service braking.
