Front Suspension Arm Bush - Inner Mount - the rubber-bonded pivot bush at the inner mounting point of the front suspension arm, within the front suspension arm assembly.

The bush forms the compliant interface between the suspension arm and the subframe or chassis structure, allowing the arm to rotate through suspension travel while isolating vibration and road shock transmitted from the wheel assembly. It also locates the arm laterally and fore-and-aft, so its condition directly affects the stability of front wheel alignment under braking and cornering loads.

Worn or split bushes typically show as vague steering, knocking over rough surfaces and uneven front tyre wear. The bush is pressed out of and into the eye of the suspension arm; the arm fasteners should be finally tightened with the suspension at normal ride height so the bush is not left preloaded in torsion.
