Camshaft Cover - cover enclosing the camshafts and valve train on the 5.0L AJ133 DOHC supercharged V8 petrol engine.

It seals the top of the cylinder head, retaining oil within the valve train and closing the head against ingress of dirt and moisture. The sealing face is a critical joint: distortion of the cover or a hardened gasket at this interface is a common source of oil weeping down the side of the engine.
