Each disc mounts to the rear wheel hub and provides the friction surface clamped by the rear brake caliper. Supplying both sides together allows the complete axle set to be renewed in one operation, which keeps friction surface condition and braking effort matched left to right.

Fit new brake pads alongside the discs and bed them in before heavy or sustained braking.
