Bodyside sliding glass - the sliding glass pane from the horizontally-sliding window in the rear body side.

The pane travels in the channels of the bodyside window frame to open and close the aperture. It is retained by the frame and its glazing seals rather than bonded to the body, so it can be renewed without disturbing the surrounding panel work.

Replacement is normally driven by impact damage, or by scoring and chipping picked up from grit carried in the slide channels.
