Glazing rubber for the window lift channel, from the front door glass and regulator assembly.

The rubber lines the U-section lift channel that the bottom edge of the door glass seats into. It grips the pane and couples it to the regulator mechanism, so the glass is raised and lowered without the mechanism loading the glass edge directly. Sized for 4 mm glass.

Once the rubber hardens or crushes, the glass works loose in the channel, tilts as it travels, and can part company with the regulator altogether.
