This is the long-end half of the belt: the webbing and body-anchorage side that passes across the occupant, pairing with the separate short-end stalk that carries the buckle. The static design uses no inertia reel, so the webbing is set manually to length using the sliding adjuster.

Non-audible specification: the assembly carries no buckle switch and therefore does not feed a seat belt warning circuit.
