Mid Silencer - intermediate silencer in the rear section of the exhaust system.

It sits between the front pipe and the rear silencer, attenuating exhaust noise and pressure pulsation before the gas reaches the tailpipe assembly. Listed for the VM 2.5 litre diesel engine.

Supplied as the silencer alone, without clamps, mountings or connecting pipework. Mid silencers corrode from the inside outward through condensation, so new clamps and rubber mountings are normally required at the same time.
