Nyloc Nut - 3/8 UNF self-locking nut with a nylon insert in the collar. The insert grips the bolt thread and resists loosening under vibration.

Used across the driveline and chassis fixings: differential housing and carrier fixings, propshaft flange fixings, steering wheel and column fixings, chassis frame fixings and towing bracket fixings.

Supplied as a pack of 100. The individual nut is part number NY606041L.

A nyloc nut is a single-use fastener. The nylon insert deforms as the nut is first tightened and does not reliably re-lock, so fit a new nut on reassembly.
