Frequently asked questions

What does the PCC500670 radiator do on a Range Rover L322?
The PCC500670 radiator assembly cools engine coolant on the Range Rover L322 fitted with the 4.4 V8 EFI or 4.2 V8 supercharged petrol engine. Hot coolant flows through the core while airflow draws off the heat, holding the V8 at operating temperature under load.
Where is the radiator located on the L322?
The radiator sits at the front of the L322 engine bay, behind the grille and ahead of the cooling fan. It links to the top and bottom coolant hoses and typically works alongside the viscous fan and condenser to manage temperature on the 4.4 and 4.2 V8 petrol engines.
What are the signs a Range Rover L322 radiator needs replacing?
Common signs are coolant leaks from the end tanks or core, overheating in slow traffic, and repeated low-coolant warnings. On the L322 V8 petrol the plastic end tanks typically weep as they age. A new radiator restores cooling and helps prevent heat damage to the engine.
Does this radiator fit every Range Rover L322?
This radiator fits the Range Rover L322 with the 4.4 V8 EFI or 4.2 V8 supercharged petrol engine. It isn't listed for the diesel L322, so check your engine before ordering. Petrol and diesel L322 radiators differ in core and connections, and using the wrong one causes fitment problems.
