Air Conditioning Compressor Drive Belt for the M57 D30 3.0L six-cylinder diesel engine.

On this engine the air conditioning compressor runs on its own dedicated belt rather than sharing the main auxiliary drive belt, so the compressor drive can be serviced independently of the alternator and power steering drive.

Polyvee (multi-rib) construction. Glazing or cracking of the rib flanks, fraying edges, or squeal when the air conditioning is engaged indicate the belt is due for renewal. Check the compressor clutch and pulley for drag at the same time, as a seizing compressor will destroy a new belt.
