Fuel Pump - external-fitting 24-volt electric fuel pump for the 3.5L V8 petrol engine in 24-volt electrical specification.

Mounted outside the tank and plumbed into the fuel supply line, the pump draws fuel from the tank and delivers it forward to the engine. The 24-volt rating is not interchangeable with the 12-volt pump used on standard-voltage vehicles: a 24-volt unit will not prime reliably on a 12-volt supply, and a 12-volt unit will be destroyed on a 24-volt one.

Self-contained in-line unit with threaded unions. Check the inlet gauze and the union seals when fitting, and mount the pump low and close to the tank so it runs flooded rather than lifting a long column of fuel.
