Ignition and Starter Switch - the electrical switch unit that mounts to the base of the steering column lock, in the ignition and starting circuit, for diesel applications.

The switch is driven by the lock barrel and distributes the battery supply to the ignition, heater and starter circuits as the key is turned. It is the switch body only; the matching steering column lock assembly is QRF100870.
