Anti-lock braking system relay - black plug-in relay fitted in the fuse and relay box at relay position RL17.

It switches the power supply into the ABS hydraulic modulator circuit under control of the ABS ECU. A failed relay normally shows as loss of ABS function with the ABS warning lamp lit, while conventional braking remains unaffected.
