Split Pin for the power steering box drop-arm retaining nut.

It passes through the slots of the castle nut and the drilled drop-arm shaft, and its legs are spread on assembly so the nut cannot back off in service. This is the final locking element of the drop-arm joint, which carries steering loads from the steering box output shaft into the drag link.

A single-use fastener: fit a new pin whenever the drop arm is removed or the castle nut is retightened.
